Ajay Rai has experience in the political sphere. Rai is an Uttar Pradeshi politician who has been heavily involved in Varanasi politics for a number of years. Though less successfully, he had run for the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency in 2014.
When Rai joined the Congress party in the early 1990s, his political career officially started. He has held a number of posts within the party over the years and has represented Uttar Pradesh’s Pindra constituency as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).
One of Rai’s most remarkable attributes is his deep ties to Varanasi residents. He is regarded as a local leader who is aware of the problems and worries that the people have.
